Our story
I never thought that something as small as doing my nails would one day become the place where I feel the most like myself.
Growing up, I dreamed of becoming an architect or animator, but because those careers were expensive, I chose not to pursue them in college because I didn’t want my family to struggle financially. I felt really lost and unsure of my life choices. But one thing I was always certain of was that I loved painting my nails. It became my little world of comfort, even though my nails were so small and difficult to work with because of my nail structure.
That’s when I realized press-ons existed. I started looking for ones that looked soft and natural, not fake or too overdone but back then, I couldn’t really find anything that matched what I had in mind. So I decided to make my own.
I started posting my work online, and to my surprise, people actually started loving it too. In 2019, I saw someone selling handmade press-ons and it made me realize maybe I could do it as well. So I started small, selling through Facebook, doing meet-ups, and eventually sharing my work on Instagram.
What started as a simple hobby slowly became my comfort, and my way of expressing the dreams I had quietly kept inside for years. That’s why I named it COZY, for people who find comfort, confidence, and a little bit of happiness just by looking at their nails. Within every set is a piece of the dream I once thought I had to let go of. It became the redirection I never expected.
When I had very little, this is what kept me going. And now, I just hope every set I create can bring even a small piece of comfort and confidence to someone else, too.
